a real home directory and also gets rid of empty folders

  • ctrl-d ends recording

  • asciinema rec -i 2 removes any idle time longer than 2 seconds

  • name file ending with .cast to prevent asking if upload is desired

  • $ASCIINEMA_UPLOAD_URL can be used to set a self-hosted asciinema server
